D-79 Front Bumper

Inspired by the classic dentside Ford era and vintage off road styling, this bumper was built to combine clean lines and functionality. Designed in CAD using 3D scanning technology, it follows the factory body lines closely while keeping a tight, low profile fitment.

The design pulls inspiration from old school desert trucks while maintaining a clean and purposeful look that complements the factory styling without overdoing it. Strong where it needs to be, simple where it counts.

Built from 3/16" mild steel, the main shell provides solid protection while keeping the profile clean and balanced. The integrated winch cradle is constructed from 1/4" mild steel for dependable recovery performance. The clevis mounts are fully tied into the main winch structure and fabricated from 3/8" mild steel with an additional 1/4" outer plate welded on, creating a total thickness of 7/8" for maximum strength where it matters most.

The top bull bar is formed from 1.75" x .120 wall DOM tubing. Additional reinforcement was added behind the main shell to increase structural rigidity while maintaining the clean overall design.

Fully bolt-on installation with only minor trimming required for proper low-profile fitment.

This bumper was designed and test fit on a 1979 Ford F250. Due to possible frame differences between years and models, customers are responsible for verifying compatibility with their specific vehicle before purchase.
