The R.D.S. (Rear Defense System) is purpose-built for the 5th Gen Toyota 4Runner, combining precision engineering, strength, and functionality in a low-profile bumper package.
Every cut, bend, corner, and feature was created with intent. Nothing is accidental. The result is a bumper that delivers exceptional fitment, structural integrity, and a clean, purposeful appearance.
The R.D.S. utilizes reinforced side plates with a dual-support design and heavy-duty frame mounting brackets engineered to distribute loads across the chassis. Each side mounts using five factory mounting locations, with an additional optional upper mounting point available, bringing the total to twelve mounting points for maximum strength and stability.
For customers choosing a swing out configuration, the R.D.S. comes equipped with our a wedge lock out system. Designed to create a solid hold, the wedge system helps minimize tire and accessory movement when navigating rough terrain. Every swing-out system also comes standard with the E3 Machine Ultimate Billet Latch, providing smooth operation, secure engagement, and long-term durability.
Whether configured as a standalone bumper or equipped with one or more swing-outs, the R.D.S. was designed to provide the strength, reliability, and attention to detail that define every VIDAL METAL WORX product.
