VF-117 Front Bumper

The VF-117 was developed with a balance of styling and trail-focused performance. Every line and component was designed with both form and function in mind, resulting in a bumper that integrates cleanly with the vehicle while delivering the strength and capability expected for serious off-road use.

At the center of the design is a modular front face plate system. The interchangeable plate allows the bumper to run in a fully enclosed configuration for a streamlined look, or in an open setup to accommodate auxiliary light pods or a medium-sized light bar. This flexibility makes it easy to tailor the bumper to your build while maintaining the bumper’s overall design language.

Off-road performance was a key focus throughout development. The VF-117 features improved approach angles to help clear obstacles and navigate technical terrain with confidence. Face plate options are available in 1/8" steel for reduced weight or 3/16" steel for additional rigidity, allowing you to choose the setup that best suits your vehicle and driving style.

Recovery points are positioned near the primary mounting structure and reinforced with an integrated support tube that distributes load forces directly through the bumper’s main structure. This design ensures recovery loads are supported where the bumper is strongest.

To further complement different builds, the VF-117 is available with Open wings or Pre-Runner style wings, giving you the flexibility to match both the look and intended use of your vehicle.

Installation Notes:

Vehicles equipped with TSS (Toyota Safety Sense) sensors or the front camera will require relocation to maintain proper functionality.
For vehicles with a winch, the power steering line may need to be adjusted or relocated to allow adequate clearance.
OEM bumper will need to be cut and trimmed for proper fitment of the VF-117 front bumper.

The VF-117 was specifically engineered for the Toyota 4Runner Fifth Generation platform. The design follows the body lines of the vehicle while maximizing clearance and maintaining a tight, integrated fit. Every mounting point and structural component was developed with the platform in mind to ensure proper fitment, strength, and long-term durability both on and off the trail.

Each VF-117 bumper is built in-house by Vidal Metal Worx. From laser-cut components to final welding and finishing, every step of the process is handled with careful attention to detail to ensure consistency and reliability.
